who cares abuoutweight,ive seen dudes riding 35 pounds bikes doing tricks not even trendy kids with 20 pounds bike can do,i used to like eastern compnay,but as i see all their shit breaks

I wouldn't fancy my chances with these... Eastern make light frames and they're good but this is too far on the weight saving.

I agree with jackson They will have been troughly tested but evertyhing brakes sometimes and its not always the companys fault. It could be a manufacturing default. All in all i like them but i dont think i would go that far just to have my bike weigh a couple less grams

everything snaps and eastern have a lifetime warranty on there frames who cares if it snaps they either give u the same model or a better one

the plastic bb is actually a Bushing and is used in various high stress applications without failiure. It is rated for something like 2 tonnes of pressure without ovalising and is self lubricating, dirt and water dont affect it either. The only problem with using a bush as a BB is that it spins a little slower than a bearing driven bottom bracket, but for most this is a good thing.

i wouldve expected them to be alot weaker than normal BBs so yea cheaper but if theyre stronger and lighter then alot more expensive

i would run these if i needed a new BB without a doubt. Oh and by the way, bushings should hold up in a BB easily, they use them in various high end hubs [proper magnalite] and most sealed pedals.
